A level, ten-minute minute walk from the town centre, with access to the Cumbrian fells as convenient as access to Keswicks' amenities, this delightful, well appointed, bungalow is the perfect place to base your visit to Cumbria, its mountains, lakes, rivers, walks, vistas and The Lake District National Park.
For those that are curious, we believe the name Limhus is derived from Anglo Saxon and means Lime House.

Keswick is perfectly placed for whatever type of holiday you have in mind. There are many attractions and activities right on the doorstep and for those just wanting to get out into in the great outdoors there are many miles of walks and bridleways, lots right from the front door.
Keswick has just about everything you could ever want from a holiday destination. Set in the Lake District National Park at the end of a lake and overlooked by mountains, there are outdoor clothing shops, bars, restaurants, takeaways, food shops, markets twice a week, an award winning Theatre, a cinema and so much more!
From the M6: From junction 40 take the A66 to Keswick. After 17 miles, turn left at the roundabout. At the next T-junction turn right. Limhus Cottage is about 200m on the right.
Approaching from south on A591: After entering Keswick’s 30 zone, follow the road all the way through the town, going straight ahead at the mini-roundabout. After you cross the river, keep in the left hand lane, go past the Esso garage on your left, and Limhus Cottage is just ahead of you on your right. It’s at the end of a row of semi-detached houses and opposite the bus stop.
Public transport: train to Penrith, bus from railway station to Keswick. High Hill Garage bus stop is opposite the cottage.
